White Papers

Members of our Testing Technology Practice have extensive testing qualifications across the federal government. They support testing for a number of large contracts that include testing for Department of Transportation, Internal Revenue Service, Housing and Urban Development, Department of Education, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including validation and integration testing of the CMS’ Medicare Beneficiary Database – the master database of more than 40 million of Medicare beneficiaries. Over the years we refined our CMMI Maturity Level 3 processes of testing support so they can be applied to each project and easily customized to meet our customer’s standards.

This year the QSSI Testing Technology Practice supported performance and stress testing to verify the reliability, capacity, resource usage, and to optimize the operational performance of the Individuals Authorized Access to CMS Computer Services (IACS), CMS’s Enterprise Identity and Access Management System. Members of our Practice worked closely with QSSI project teams and government technologists to coordinate the scheduling of test regions, databases, the creating of test scripts, reporting of performance metrics and the execution of test scripts. They collected performance metrics from the multiple vendors involved in system support, including the CPU utilization, wait time, database responses, and analyzed the data for reporting in the Performance Test Summary Reports.
