IT Infrastructure Cabling Plan - Phase II
Columbia, MD – September 8, 2005 –QSSI, a provider of IT solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a Prime Contract from the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) to implement Phase II of the IT Infrastructure Cabling Plan at the new DOT Headquarters building. The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) is relocating and consolidating its employees to a new headquarters facility located at the Southeast Federal Center at M Street and New Jersey Avenue (the ‘SFC’ building). DOT new Headquarters include a two-tower, 9-story office building.
The objective of this contract is to provide the Department of Transportation with a team of professional IT network personnel that will implement Phase II of the IT Infrastructure Cabling Plan at the New DOT Headquarters Building . This is the second contract award from DOT to QSSI for IT Infrastructure Cabling Plan for the new DOT Headquarters.
This work includes: furnishing a comprehensive solution for client requirements at DOT to include all materials, tools, equipment, expertise, and labor to furnish, install, and test network cabling for the new DOT Headquarters.
