QSSI achieves CMMI® SE/SW Maturity Level 2 Rating
Columbia, MD – November 17 , 2006 – QSSI is pleased to announce that it has been successfully appraised as a CMMI® SE/SW Maturity Level 2 organization effective August 18, 2006. A SCAMPI Class-A appraisal was performed on representative IT projects at QSSI by a team of independent SEI-trained and authorized CMMI® appraisers led by a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser. The appraisal team concluded that QSSI has implemented a disciplined process to manage, monitor and control its IT projects.
During the appraisal process QSSI received recognition in several areas including Senior Management support of quality process improvement as well as commitment of the project team members to customer satisfaction. "QSSI has reached this important milestone as part of its continued process improvement initiative." stated Bikram Bakshi, President of QSSI. "The foundation of this initiative is built upon QSSI’s existing SW-CMM Level 3 policies and procedures that have been adopted and practiced across the company for multiple years."
