QSSI PHIM Framework

QSSI’s Patient Health Information Management (PHIM®) framework combines technology, best practices, professional services and integration methodologies to accelerate the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) across the healthcare provider community. PHIM® provides native support to Clinical Data Repositories (CDR),  Clinician and Nurse charting capabilities, Quality Measures Reporting and Patient access to the EHR. PHIM® can be quickly integrated with existing clinical and Practice Management systems under various settings like Inpatient, Physician Office and Ambulatory.

 

PHIM® supports interoperable messaging with other systems like Laboratory and Pharmacies and can be configured to work in an National Health Information Network (NHIN) environment with the ability to exchange clinical and imaging information with other EHR modules and systems. Standards support in PHIM® includes ICD-9-CM, SNOMED-CD and CPT. PHIM® has been developed to address the objectives defined in the Stage 1 Criteria, as specified in the NPRM from HHS/CMS and the Interim Final Rule from HHS/ONC, for Eligible Hospitals and Eligible Professionals in their meaningful use of Certified EHR technology.
